About the event

About Dad-Ventures

Getting dads together with other dads is great for helping to navigate the challenges of fatherhood.  We design all events to help you build epic memories with your kid(s).  Plus, it gives mum a break which gets you bonus points, even though you are having fun.  Told you we had your back.

About this event

This summer holidays, join the Dad-ventures as we go to Forest Fawr to navigate the sculpture trail.  The trail is designed for kids - with multiple wooden scupltures providing direction and fun for kids of all ages in a nature setting.

The day will be a great opportunity for you to build amazing memories with your kids (and to give mum a break during this intense holiday - resulting in major bonus points for you).

Cost:

£0.00 (although please bring your own picnic stuff).

The iteniary

10:15 - 10:30:  Meet at Forest Fawr, Car Park (CF83 1NG)

10:30ish to 12:30ish:  Walk around the Sculpture Trail (approximately 1.5 miles). We have kept the time frame as approximate as, well, kids!  Tick list of all the sculptures to be found.  Prizes awarded for ticking them all off (note: we will visit them all together so every kid wins).

12:30ish to 13:30ish:  Picnic to be eaten and prizes handed out for finding all the sculptures.

13:30-14:00ish:  Head home.

The smallprint

You will be responsible for your own kids.  It will be up to you to decide what they can or cannot go on and to take care of them as you would normally.  The other dads will have their hands full but there will be plenty of opportunity to catch-up with them as you go round.  We encourage you to ask questions about parenting, fathering and all the challenges that it brings to each other.  Sometimes, those big issues are made a bit smaller by support and advice.
