Why we exist.
The world rises and falls on the character of its men.
We exist to equip and support men to be the great man - in character and calling - that God created them to be.
Why we chose praus.
If the world rises and falls on the character of its men, it makes sense to look to the character of the greatest man of all: Jesus.
Jesus spoke about his heart (the deepest part of who he is) in only one place in all of scripture. He said, "I am gentle and lowly in heart'. The ancient Greek translation for 'gentle' was 'praus'.
It means to have all of one's strengths, power, gifting's under control and used for the betterment of others. For the rare, few men that manage this God makes a significant promise: 'Blessed are the meek [praus] for they will inherit the earth'.

Who we are.
We are a community of men bonded by one core tenant: a vision to be the best version of ourselves. The bloke that God created us to be: the one who isn't perfect but that makes the world a better place for everyone they come into contact with.
So, we began to do life together. To challenge each other. To support each other. To fight for each other, and for our families. To go on adventures together, and to push each other to be all that God created us to be. None of us is perfect. We just aim for improvement.

Our mission
To equip you to become the great man that God created you to be.
Not the bloke that society or culture tells you to be. You were created to be someone unique - in personality, strengths, skills, gifts, calling and destiny. Our mission is to come alongside you and support you every step of the way.
Our ultimate dream is to see a world filled with great men. Who can be 'praus' in heart - using the great strength and gifts in a way that helps others. Just imagine how different that world would look.
Our guiding principles
Every man is unique
Every man is unique. Created fearfully and wonderfully by God with a distinctive calling, personality, set of gifts and abilities. No story is identical and no destiny is the same.
That's why we do not believe in a 'cookie-cutter' approach to masculinity. There is no one-size fits all approach. Every programme helps you to become you.
We take a whole man approach to development
Every man has a heart, body and spirit. To thrive, every bloke has to be healthy in all three of these areas.

Every man has a destiny
Every man has a destiny. Born for times such as these, each is man is called to make a positive impact on this world, in ways only they can.
We value every man as equals no matter where they are on their journey - standing at the summit or lying down in the valley.
No man gets left behind
Any man trying to climb to the summit of who they are faces danger. They may fall or fail or get hurt. Whatever happens, we will be there for you. We leave nobody behind.

The Praus Formula
Skilled hands
Every man has a unique set of strengths (gifts & skills). A praus man embraces them, and continuously improves them to become a master of their craft. This gives them great strength and power, which they use for the betterment of others.

Pure heart
A highly skilled man without a pure heart uses their power for their own benefit coming at a great cost to those they are responsible for. They are controlled by their power. In contrast, a praus man has a gentle, kind, pure heart which enables them to have control of their power, and using it for the betterment of others.

Praus man
A man with a pure heart and skilled hand will inherit the earth. He can be trusted by God to be a king who makes the world a better place for his family, friends, church, community, nation. Such men lead fulfilling lives.
