"The best toy a child has is their imagination. Look for imaginary stimulation (Playmobil is a hit for us) rather than placating your kids"
"Sabbath - do that and you'll give yourself the breathing space to figure the rest out"

""Quality of time with your children requires quantity of time with your children: it’s easy to think that if you have 20 minutes with your kids at bed time every night that you are creating space for good conversations. Sometimes the deeper connections only arrive when you are available for several hours – so make sure you have quantity of time as well as quality of time regularly. Someone once said: make sure you go fishing with your kids when they are young or you will go hunting for them when they are older."

"Create great adventure times with your kids so that their childhood is full of great memories. My kids often talk about our travel adventures together and those adventures have made them eager to explore the world around them. Planning these adventures can take significant amounts of time - but so worth it in the long run."
